Who installs Kisi access control in Vancouver, Edmonton and Calgary?

Benson Hunt is a Kisi dealer and partner. Our local teams design, install and support Kisi door access across Vancouver, Edmonton and Calgary, and one number, (604) 813-7881, reaches the people who set it up.

Start with an IT review. Then a paid site survey and a pilot before you commit.

What can Kisi do for your doors?

  • Staff can unlock doors with their phone, either by tapping it on the reader or from the Kisi app.
  • Cards and fobs work too, and so do badges in Apple Wallet on doors with a current Kisi reader.
  • You can unlock a door from the Kisi app or web dashboard when you’re not on site, for example to let in a delivery. If you’d rather not allow that, a door can be set to open only for people near the building.
  • Set when each door or group can be used, like cleaners only from 6 to 8 am, and keep doors unlocked during business hours if you want.
  • Kisi keeps a log of who unlocked which door and when, including failed unlock attempts.

How do we install Kisi?

1. IT review. We listen first.

2. Paid site survey. We look at every door, then scope and quote with you before work begins.

3. Pilot. One door or one building first, before you commit.

Readers and controllers go on their own network, away from guest and office traffic, and every device gets a unique strong password.

Kisi can often keep your current readers and cards. Some phone features need Kisi’s own reader, and we tell you which doors need one.

Does Kisi work with Cisco Meraki cameras?

Yes. Kisi works with Cisco Meraki cameras. When a door opens, fails to open or is forced, Kisi saves camera snapshots of that moment next to the event, so you can see who was at the door.
